Stream Scheduling
God it’s fucken hard.
EVERYONE is streaming ALL the FUCKING TIME and it’s like, “WHERE CAN I FIT IN AMONGST ALL MY FRIENDS?!”
Good news is, Twitch has a feature called “Schedules”. Bad news is, it’s absolute garbage.
BUT WE CAN FIX THIS
You got a Google Calendar? Or an iOS Calendar? Or [shudder] an Outlook calendar? Or some form of online calendar? Good. You don’t? Get one.
You want to Add a Calendar from a URL. For example, in Google Calendar, go to Other Calendars towards the bottom left of the screen, click the Add Calendar button, then click From URL. I’m sure you can figure it out on other platforms.
Now, you’re gonna put in this URL:
webcal://api.twitch.tv/helix/schedule/icalendar?broadcaster_id=485404757
Boom. You’ve just added a calendar that shows you all of Back Pocket’s upcoming streams. You can toggle it on or off to see when they’re coming up.
I’m sure you can see where this is going. Just replace “485404757” with the Broadcaster ID of any other streamer, and you can add as many other calendars as you like.

IT’S THAT SIMPLE
AND ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS SOCIALLY PRESSURE EVERY STREAMER TO UPDATE THEIR SCHEDULE ON THE REG AND WE LIVE IN A STRESS-FREE WORLD.
